Today I want to explain to you by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that is granted to me to the saints what it meant when Jesus Christ told Saul "It is hard for you to kick against the pricks" and how that Saul understanding and obedience to that statement of Jesus Christ set him on his course to destiny and purpose. As Christians we know by the scriptures that Jesus in his earthly ministry speaks by parables, he still speaks by parables today. Look at the way Jesus Christ spoke to Saul who was persecuting the church on his way to Damascus: "Acts 9: 5. And he(Saul) said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks" The English word pricks comes from the root Greek word "kentron' .
