Romans:14:23" Cain was trying to please God without faith, cain "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: 2 Timothy:3:5" cain thought that it is by his personal effort that he will get to please God. Cain was trying to do God a service without it been the will of God. Abel had faith and he end up pleasing God. It is by faith (by revelation) that you please God. (Hebrews:11:4 kJV). By this scripture we see that though Abel is long dead yet his deed of faith speaks to the body of Christ till now. What then does it speaks? Often time Christians wonder from the natural standpoint what does the faith of Abel speaks to the church today and the world in general, see the Holy Spirit would not have you ignorant. Abel and Cain, Abel a keeper of livestock (livestock rearer) and Cain tiller of the ground (Farmer), both brother of the same mother (Eve) and father (Adam), yet when it was time for both of them to worship and bring an offering to God, God accepted one (Abel) and rejected the other (Cain); God declared one righteous the other unrighteous. Apostle James was inspired and write to us by the Spirit saying: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. {James 2:17} I have established by the word of God in my previous writing, that faith is the revelation of God to man, and the revelation comes by hearing the word of God; and by it the elders of old obtained a good report by God (Hebrews 11:2). Kindly read my previous write up on 'what faith is" to have a good knowledge of faith. Our works express to the people what your faith is and what God said is it and would take place. If you are afraid to act it that means your faith has not taken a hold of it. You show your faith by your works to God and man. Our works is the way we turn our faith loose to obtain a good report with God. And we can turn it loose by speaking it and acting upon it,  Glory to God. You confess to God and man believing in your heart what your faith is and what your faith has taken a hold of, and act to God and man believing in you

Proverbs 24:3-4 Amplified Bible (AMP) Through [skillful and godly] wisdom a house [a life, a home, a family] is built, And by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation], And by knowledge its rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. Wherever you see the word 'House" used in a figurative sense in any place in the Bible, the Greek or Hebrew was translated to be {a life,  a home or family}. The above scripture is instructing us that by Godly wisdom A life, A home, A family is built; by understanding of God it is established on a good foundation, and foundation is the core of everything that is built, if the foundation is weak, what you build is bound to fall someday;  and by knowledge of God we fill every area of what we have built with all precious and pleasant riches substance to make it all beautiful to behold.
