It will be hard for you to kick against the pricks.....

Today I want to explain to you by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that is granted to me to the saints what it meant when Jesus Christ told Saul "It is hard for you to kick against the pricks" and how that Saul understanding and obedience to that statement of Jesus Christ set him on his course to destiny and purpose.
As Christians we know by the scriptures that Jesus in his earthly ministry speaks by parables, he still speaks by parables today.
Look at the way Jesus Christ spoke to Saul who was persecuting the church on his way to Damascus:
"Acts 9: 5. And he(Saul) said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks"
The English word pricks comes from the root Greek word "kentron' . Kentron is sometimes also translated as goads.
The goad is a traditional farming implement, used to spur or guide livestock, usually oxen, which are pulling a plough or a cart; used also to round up cattle. It is a type of long stick with a pointed end, also known as the cattle prod. The word is from Middle English gode, from Old English gād.
Oxen are used for plowing, for transport (pulling carts , hauling wagons and even riding), for threshing grain by trampling, and for powering machines that grind grain or supply irrigation among other purposes. Oxen may be also used to skid logs in forests, particularly in low-impact, select-cut logging.
We see that the Oxen is used for service by man, that is to work for the master.
Sometimes the Oxen refuse to move and work and would kick back at the pointed object of the Goad and as a result stab itself on the goad or prick, hereby hurting itself; therefore the oxen will have to learn to obey by doing what the master wants it to do and not kick against (resist) the goad knowing it will be hard for him and will get hurt by the master goad.
Now Jesus Christ the master: Lord" of all man, is as a master to Saul welding the goad pointing it to the oxen Saul: in the scripture Jesus Christ was telling Saul that it will turn out hurtful, to Saul detriment if he resist the work he has for him....
This is the master Lord Jesus Christ work he has for Saul
Acts 9: 15. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he (Saul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Saul knowing it will be to his detriment, to his hurt, to the disadvantage of his life to kick against the master "Jesus Christ" our Lord Goad said and submitted himself to the will of Jesus Christ.
Acts 9:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
So he (Saul), trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
And ever since then he has been obeying Jesus Christ and was used mightily among all that God used in the new testament and up till now.
Saul later named and called Apostle Paul was used mightily to write almost all the books of the new testament, he was granted abundant of revelation;  Also
Acts 19: 11-12
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12. So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
At some other time multitudes of people stoned Apostle Paul to the point they saw he was dead, he later rose up amd went into the city (Acts 14:19-20)
And this came at a price of obeying and submission to the will of  Jesus Christ knowing well that "It is hard for him to kick against the goad of the master Jesus Christ our Lord AMD Savior"
Shalom....
