Dreams are letter from God

Dreams people say is foolish and some believe it just your mind playing some scene of thoughts and plans of men and never meant to be taken serious: Instead, God has deliberately chosen to use ideas the world considers foolish and of little worth in order to shame those people considered by the world as wise and great and it is wonderful how that God choose God still speaks to people in dreams and vision today and concerning dreams and vision the Holy Spirit will not want you to be ignorant.

Dreams since the beginning of time had been one way that God speaks to Nations, Kingdom, Kings, Men and his prophets, so take heed because God may have been speaking to you or will speak to you these days.

Job 33:14-18 (NCV)

God does speaks in a dream or a vision of the night, when people are in a deep sleep, lying on their beds. He speaks in their ears and frighten them with warnings, To turn them away from doing wrong and to keep them them from being proud. God does this to save people from death, to keep them from dying.

When you read the bible from the very beginning of time Genesis and observe to this present time you will see that God has used dreams as one of the several ways to speak to his people and people who are not his people to give them “Instruction, Warning and guide them into his divine purpose, plan and timing.

When God has warned people through dream:

Genesis 20:3

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, you are but a dead man, for the woman which you have taken; for she is a man’s wife.

That was when God warned Abimelech in a dream to return Sarah back to Abraham when he had forcefully taken her.

Genesis 31:24

And God came to Laban the Syrians in a dream by night; and said to him, take heed that you speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

That was when God warned Laban not to do evil to Jacob.

Matthew 2:12 and 13

12. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

13. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dram, saying, Arise, take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

That was when God warned the three wise men and Joseph through dream of King Herod device to hurt Jesus Christ.

When God has instructed people concerning his plans and purpose:

Genesis 37:9

Then Joseph had another dream, and he told his brothers and it also. He said, “Listen, I had another dream. I saw the sun, moon, and eleven stars bowing down to me.”

God also gave instruction to King Pharaoh concerning the famine that is about to hit the land of Egypt: “And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed (Genesis 41:1):………..,,,,,,,,

Matthew 1:20

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, you son of David, fear not to take to thee Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

There was a time that King Saul and God did not answer him through dreams (1 Samuel 28:6) that is to show how that dreams are one way that God choose to talk to people.

And there was also record where people have received supernatural gifts and ability from God in dream:

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give you (1 Kings 3:5) and that account for how King Solomon was given wisdom from above and became the wisest and richest man that ever lived.

And the bible also account for a young man like Joseph who had the ability or rather the gift to dream dream and also interpret it and that is Daniel:

The man I am talking about is Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. He was very wise and had knowledge and understanding. He could explain dreams and secrets and could answer very hard problems. Call for Daniel. He will tell you what the writing on the wall means.

Seeing all this it is just to base our faith on dreams that God gives so as to be guided into His plans, purpose and timing for the seasons of our lives.. Shalom
