Death

“of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)
Death was not the initial plan of God for mankind, Man was created in the image of God and after His likeness (Genesis 1:26) the likeness of God never dies and there is no form of infirmity in His form and likeness.
Adam disobeyed the Word of God and out of his disobedience came Sin and from sin death that pass to all mankind (see Romans 5:12,19) for this reason any all man that came by the intercourse of man and woman is sin and death to God and this was why David said in the book of psalms “I was brought forth in iniquity and in sin my mother conceive me.
No one ever wish to be a sinner and death to God but Adam disobedience brought sin to all man and by sin came death.
Death can be seen in two perspective; The Physical and Spiritual Death.
The physical death is when the spirit of man depart from him and his flesh return to the dust as it was taken from the dust, the breathe of God is the life and spirit of man and once it departs the flesh decay and return to the dust.
The spiritual death is when man is death to God, to the knowledge of God, to his own potentiality and capacity as man, death to the purpose as to which God place him on earth. The spiritual death makes man ignorant of his true identity as a pilgrim who sojourn the earth, we are all pilgrimage on the face of the earth and a lot of people walk in darkness in the course of their journey in life.
The glorious news is that Jesus Christ our lord has been made to us by the father of glory God lord of hosts Righteousness, Redemption,  and our Sanctification of God (1 Corinthians 1:30) and in Adam all sin and died but in Jesus Christ shall all be made alive to God (1 Corinthians 15:22). This was the same revelation that Apostle Paul got when he said “if any man be in Christ he is a new creation, old things have passed away: behold all things have become new. Now all things are of God (2 Corinthians 5:17,18) All things are of God!!!!!! Worthy of note, all things are of God in which is not sin and death.
If you are in Christ Jesus as a born again you are alive to God, you can hear God, you are alive to your potentials as a creation of God for a purpose to be achieved on earth by you.
Meditate upon these things, give thy self wholly to them and thy profiting may appear to all (1 Timothy 4:15)
God bless you!
