Abel faith that still speaks part (2)
"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
(Hebrews:11:4 kJV)"
What then does the faith of Abel speak even as he is long dead?
Firstly, that: it is by faith that we please God (Hebrews 11:6), our commitment, worship and devotion to God should be by faith (by revelation of God)
......: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Romans:14:23"
Cain was trying to please God without faith, cain "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: 2 Timothy:3:5" cain thought that it is by his personal effort that he will get to please God.
Cain was trying to do God a service without it been the will of God.
Abel had faith and he end up pleasing God.
It is by faith (by revelation) that you please God. Remember faith comes when you hear God (Romans 10:17)
Secondly, cain represent Christians who who serve God and make a devotion to God based on the designs of man (Denomination, man doctrines, teachings and creeds) and no matter what effort it takes, God shall reject it and declare it unrighteous.
We dont go to God by designs of man; I am Redeem, I am Christ Embassy, I am foursquare, I am Celestial and et all. God shall in the end of time judge all man not by the church you belong or attend nor by standards of a denomination or creeds; God will judge all man by faith (Word of God). Blessed are you and your church if it holds fast to sound doctrines of the bible.
You see God told Cain;
"If you do it well, will you not be accepted? (Genesis 4:7)
Doing it well is doing it through the word of God and not designs of man.
Thirdly, the blood of the firstborn sheep that Abel offered to God by faith represent the shadow of the real thing that is to come, `Jesus Christ the lamb of God that takes the sin of the world away (John 1:29)"
God was fortelling through His acceptance of the sacrifice of Abel and declaring Abel righteous as a way that He will accept us and declare us righteous in Christ Jesus.
`And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel. Hebrews:12:24"
`But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Peter:1:19"
In Jesus Christ, through his blood shed for us on the cross of calvary, his gospel and words, is the only way that all mankind is accepted and righteous to God, not by any other way; Jesus is the way, the truth and the life of God to man, and no man come to God, but by Jesus Christ our Lord(John14:6 )
