Your foundation in this life.
Proverbs 24:3-4 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Through [skillful and godly] wisdom a house [a life, a home, a family] is built,
And by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation], And by knowledge its rooms are filled
With all precious and pleasant riches.
Wherever you see the word 'House" used in a figurative sense in any place in the Bible, the Greek or Hebrew was translated to be {a life, a home or family}.
The above scripture is instructing us that by Godly wisdom A life, A home, A family is built; by understanding of God it is established on a good foundation, and foundation is the core of everything that is built, if the foundation is weak, what you build is bound to fall someday; and by knowledge of God we fill every area of what we have built with all precious and pleasant riches substance to make it all beautiful to behold.
And it is wonderful that;
For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6)
The whole Bible consist of the word of God, and therein is the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God is given to man. We prosper as children of God if we do well to build our life, home and family upon the rock of the word of God.
Often time we see some people who have built their life by their own design of man wisdom, understanding and knowledge who when the storm of life hit lose all they have laboured for in their life. You see couple have failed to follow the word of God in building their relationship and marriage and later on when problems hit their marriage they run to God whom they have ignored from the start.
Our finances, business, relationship with man and God, conduct of life, marriage and family, training of children, pursuit of a career and all should be based upon the word of God and by so doing we have a sure foundation with God that stands forever and withstand any storm, flood of life; and yes 'when you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. You will not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; for the LORD your God will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught {Proverbs 3:24-26}
We should study the Bible to know and put to work in our life, home and family by the word of God what it prescribe.
Even if the foundation are destroyed, what can the righteous do (Psalm 11:3)
