God is not man that He should lie to you.

Numbers 23:19 {THE LIVING BIBLE}
God is not a man, so he does not lie.  He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

Once again the Holy Spirit inspired me along this line. See, God is not a man that He should lie, now at times we unscrupulously tell a lie to people so as to get them to do something to our advantage, to some of you, perhaps, your family member (uncle, aunt) has promised you a job after your graduation and now it seems like they are liars because no job is coming forth from them, it is the manner of man to tell lie because man is selfish, but glory to God, He is not a man that he should lie.
That is why God said;
Psalm 146: 3-5
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. 4. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. 5. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God

We are happy and blessed to put our help and trust in God because He is not a man that lies and fails us.
Also, the opening  scripture said God is not a human being that changes His mind concerning what He has said He will do, that is, God cannot take His word back, He has to be God and be true to his word.
A man is not any better than his word, and words are our thoughts expressed, you can understand the character and manner of any person as a result of his words and perceive his nature of person, because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
God and His word can never be separated; In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God {John 1:1}. He has to be God and stick to what He said He will do the first time, unchanging, you see God wouldn't change his mind concerning what He has purposed to do.
'I am God, and there is none like Me, knowing and declaring the end of things from the beginning, even the things of ancient times, things that are not yet done {Isaiah 46:9-10}.
Several times, out of a good conscience, honesty and all sincerity, I have promised some people I will visit them at a future date and stay over the weekend at their homes. And before the set time, something else comes up which is beyond my control and power and I just change my mind, because plans changed. You see: I was hindered cos I could not forsee that would happen and to my friend, I just seem like a liar and unstable person.
But God cannot change His mind, for example, if you are a young woman and seeking and praying to God for a good husband that will love you and mean the world to you. If God speaks to you that He will do it and bring your husband to your way, God cannot be hindered, because He has seen all circumstances and challenges along the line before making that promise to you, God cannot come again tomorrow and say something else, He is not man that lies nor human being that changes His mind concerning what He has said to do to you. He has to be God and mean the word He said to you the very first time, God has to stick with the first plan because He knows the end of all things from the very beginning.
Another instance, if God tells brother John that sister Tolu is his wife, that is God's plan for you, praise God. God cannot come again tomorrow and tell brother John that another sister, let say Sister Grace is his  wife, else He would have been a liar and He cannot say He has changed His mind to give you another wife maybe because sister Tolu is no longer a good person, God knew all things from the beginning, He knows who sister Tolu was before He promised her to you as a wife.
However, man's hardest position towards God is trying to believe God, because we have experience of people who have lied to us and changed their minds having convinced us of what they said to us, and we have this kind of feeling towards God that maybe God has lied or maybe He changed His mind for a better plan, the first plansand purpose of God is forever better than any you think He will change it for. Amen

Whatever God says to you He will do, read real close, He will never fail to act to do it for you, and whatever He promises to you He will carry it out, because He is God, ever knowing, knows the end from the beginning, He has seen all circumstances, hindrances and pitfalls along the way, so when He made the first promise He mean it, never was it a lie and never will God change His mind.

I perceive  that you have been blessed reading this. I love you with a Godly love, dear reader. And my thoughts and prayers are always with you...
May the grace of God rest upon you. Amen
